About design
ON WHICH WALLS CAN THEY BE USED?
Our mosaics are suitable for indoor installations.
They can be installed on every kind of walls by using epoxy grouts.
CAN YOU USE THEM IN THE SWIMMING POOL?
No. As they are composed of natural stone bound with water-based resins, the continuous immersion in water with chlorine and other disinfecting agents will deteriorate the surface.
Our products can be used on walls that are not immersed completely in water.
About design
IS PRE-TREATMENT NECESSARY BEFORE LAYING?
No, our products are protected with a special lacquer during production. It is advised to open several boxes and lay the mosaic sheets on the floor to check the uniformity of the colouring.
HOW TO CUT THE MOSAIC SHEET?
Simply cut with a cutter and then break them off with pliers.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO LAY THEM WITHOUT FILLING THE JOINTS?
We do not recommend it, from an aesthetic point of view because traces of the adhesive used during the laying of the sheets can spill out and also from a functional point of view, in order to prevent the detachment of the small mosaic tiles over time.
HOW TO COVER CORNERS?
To cover internal corners, it is necessary to cut the mosaics as indicated and then fill in the joints with grout.
External corners of walls or small walls, it is advisable to use aluminium corners in the colour that best matches the colour of the mosaic.

IS IT POSSIBLE NOT TO USE EPOXY GROUT TO FILL IN THE JOINTS?
It is advisable to always use epoxy grout because humidity can enter in between the mosaics / adhesive / wall and cause partial detachments over time.
IS IT POSIBLE TO USE CEMENTITIOUS GROUT?
It is advisable not to use cementitious grout because after filling the joints, it must be removed by abrasive action or by acid washing, thus causing damages to the surface of the products.
HOW TO CLEAN AFTER THE FIRST LAYING?
To remove the epoxy grout applied in the mosaic jonts, just clean with a sponge and clean water. Wipe the surface of the mosaics repeatedly with a clean, washed and rinsed sponge.

About ordinary maintenance
HOW TO CLEAN MOSAIC WALLS IN THE SHOWER?
Remove water from the walls with weigh a sponge after each shower to prevent limestone from creating stains or black moulds in the joints.
HOW TO CLEAN MOSAIC WALLS IN THE KITCHEN?
Use neutral detergents and rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any residual detergents. Do not use abrasive sponges or acid-based products. Dry with a cloth.
HOW TO CLEAN THE WALLS IN OTHER ROOMS?
Same method as for the walls in the kitchen: neutral detergents, rinse with plenty of clean water, dry with a cloth.
